Sketch Walk +: From Strahov to Hřebenka

Have you thought of how your sketching can be influenced by knowing something more about the place that you are sketching? Let's try it. :) This time we will walk from Strahov ventilation tower to Hřebenka. There will be 4 stops on the way and Ivana (anavigaart) will tell us a story at each of the stops. And after listening to the story we will sketch for about 15 minutes, 4 stops, 4 sketches (at least:). The estimated stops are: Strahov ventilation tower, vyhlídka Strahov (no sketching here), vila manželů Machoninových, Vosmíkova vila, Hřebenka (Švédská x Zapova).

Recommendation: If you plan to go by bus from Smíchov, it's better to take a bus 191 from Anděl https://maps.app.goo.gl/iDX5dEYcDcB14tgU9 (instead of 176 from Karlovo náměstí). Check also other possibilities from other directions.

Schedule

5 pm: Meeting by the Strahov ventilation tower. If you come late just walk from the starting point and sooner or later you will find us somewhere on the way.

For New Members

Our events are open to everyone who enjoys drawing and urban sketching. There are no fees, just bring your own sketchbook and media you like. There is no formal tuition given but you can certainly get inspired by others. All levels are welcome!

If you have urban sketching questions or suggestions, please bring them up with the group admins.
