Read before you register

This will be an intensive workshop requiring participants to move about quite a lot, to mostly draw standing up, to sketch under time constraints, and to be comfortable sketching outdoors in a busy environment.

Learning objectives

We will try out exercises designed to develop our skills in:

drawing people in motion, and

capturing little stories happening all around us.

As with our previous two workshops, we will focus exclusively on observational drawing.

About The People Drawing Series

This series of educational events will cover the exciting topic of drawing people from direct observation, from the basics to groups, crowds, and people in motion.

The events will take place throughout 2023, starting with an introductory Talk in February, followed by three full-day workshops in the coming months. All events will be free of charge.
